Spring/Summer Gate Hours
May 1st through September 30th, our gates will be open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Fall/Winter Gate Hours
October 1st through April 30th, our gates will be open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Road Work
There will be repairs made to the road along the south side of Sections E and F. This project is estimated to be complete by . We apologize for any inconvenience.
New Columbarium
We are excited to announce the installation of a new columbarium located on the Smith Estates along the east side of the cemetery. Construction is scheduled to begin Summer 2024. For information regarding the waitlist, call our office at 701.235.2671
Memorial Day Ceremony
Join us this Memorial Day, May 29th at 11:00 AM here at Riverside Cemetery. There will be a parade to the Veteran's Section with a short Memorial ceremony to follow.

Decoration Removal
Starting October 1, cemetery staff and management will begin removing artificial/ plastic flowers, plants, and displays. Riverside Cemetery staff and management have the right to remove any unsightly, damaged, or out-of-season decorations at their discretion
Winter Weather
As you visit Riverside Cemetery in the winter months, we ask that you keep in mind the inevitability of snowy and icy roads. Please drive with care. Do not pull off to the side of the roads, as it is common for vehicles to get stuck in the snow. If possible, wait to visit the cemetery until after our roads have been plowed to minimize the chance of getting stuck.

Riverside Cemetery is not responsible for assisting vehicles stuck in the snow.

Grounds Work
Do to the recent winter storm, there is a large amount of fallen branches within the cemetery. Please allow our crew adequate space to work, so we can safely remove branches and debris.

Narrow Roads
Keep in mind the narrow roads. Please drive with care and respect; do not pull off to the side of the roads into the grass during the wet/spring seasons.
