Spring/Summer Gate Hours

May 1st through September 30th, our gates will be open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Holiday Hours

The Riverside Cemetery office building is closed on holidays, but the cemetery gates remain open from

8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Bench Policy

Any existing bench will be removed at the discretion of the cemetery staff on October 1st and will be stored temporarily before being disposed of.

All benches that are not made of monument quality stone are not to be placed on burial plots or other parts of the cemetery grounds.

The removal of benches from the cemetery grounds is a proactive measure designed to ensure that the space remains appeasing and accessible for all.

Pavers Available for Purchase

Located in front of our columbarium is a section of paving stones which can be purchased by anyone for $350. Each stone can fit three engraved lines. The font and font size of all inscriptions are standard and are completed within one year of the purchase.

New Columbarium and Ossuary

We are excited to announce the installation of a new columbarium located on the Smith Estates along the east side of the cemetery. For information regarding sales, call our office at 701.235.2671

Memorial Day Ceremony

Join us this Memorial Day, May 25th at 11:00 AM here at Riverside Cemetery. There will be a parade to the Veteran's Section with a short Memorial ceremony to follow.

Memorial Day Flags

Boy Scout Troop 229 volunteer to place flags on veterans' markers. If your loved one was accidentally missed, we have a box of flags outside the main office. If you require assistance placing a flag, call 701. 235.2671
